The Design
The identity needed to hold two things simultaneously: the tactile, glossy, high-energy world of Yuko's gel artistry, and the clean authority of a premium brand.
A bespoke illustration suite mirrored the gummy, 3D nature of her sets, functioning as visual shorthand for the SAIKOU aesthetic across digital and physical touchpoints. The logo and typography were designed as a bold, contemporary anchor: deliberate contrast against the colourful intricacy of the art it frames. Clean enough to be legible. Confident enough to hold its own.
The full toolkit extended to business cards, service menus, and booking collateral. The entire client experience professionalised as a branded encounter.
The Outcome
Following the rebrand, SAIKOU was featured in RUSSH Magazine as part of their curated guide to the best nail salons in Sydney. Yuko's clientele has since shifted toward the arts and fashion industries: the natural audience for work that sits at the intersection of personal grooming and fine art.
